Daha is used to form the comparative degree of adjectives and adverbs. In English, it is usually translated as “more” or “even more.”
En is used to form the superlative degree of adjectives and adverbs and is translated as “the most.”
Examples:
- daha büyük — bigger (even bigger)
- daha güzel — more beautiful
- daha ince — thinner
- daha mavi — more blue
- en büyük — the biggest
- en güzel — the most beautiful
- en ince — the thinnest
- en mavi — the most blue
